Cobbled Together Sporran
I generally would never post an ebay link simply because I believe in a good deal...meaning that if a person is not keen enough to find the item themsleves then the person who has, should find it (similar to a yard sale).
However, I will draw attention to this item as I feel it warants scrutiny. This sporran has two attractive lineages: one its cantle and two, it's pouch. In my opinion, the cantle may actually fit the dimensions of a childs sporran...the rest of the sporran is nice too, but is probably more recent. Both are nice though...wonderful silverwork(hallmarked) and nice leatherwork and presumably old tooling.
What are your thoughts?

This sporran is being discussed in another thread. I'll see if I can find the link.
Thanks Dave

You can't read them all. Keep the flow of information coming.

Forgive the poor spelling. To clarify, I think the cantle is a nice silver cantle, but perhaps it once fittted a childs sporran. The main pouch is full-sized and seems to be more recent than 1895. Made probably from beaver or muskrat.
