    Halloween at the Renfaire

Last Saturday (10/27) I ventured again to the Texas Renaissance Festival for "All Hallow's Eve" weekend
    All Hallows is a photo rich enviroment, with lots of different costumes etc....but my camera batteries pooped out, and I didn't feel like paying the King's tariff for new ones, So here's what I got;

It was clear and about 49 degrees (F) that morning when the gates opened, which is like the first day under 80 we've had this fall, so it was only the diehards for the first couple hours..

But soon the ghouls and goblins started rolling in....

First show for my day, Tartanic,

    where we saw the Mini-Avengers.

My low visability festive Halloween garb brings all the hot witches to the yard!

Friends Niki and Chris as Boushh and a Stormtrooper.

The always entertaining Fire Whip show.

My low visability festive Halloween garb also brings all the hot bellydancers (and the sort of photo everyone expects me to produce) to the yard..

a shot with my friends Queen Bonnie (QOE) and Charlie. Charlie makes a trip down from Arkansas for the faire. Couple more to come....

Wow! Looks like everyone was having a lot of fun. I like your Halloween outfit. Orange must be a babe magnet. I'll have to remember that, next time I have a pumpkin on my head. Or, maybe it's just you. Thanks for posting the pics. Happy Halloween!

I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

    Halloween at the Renfaire II

Here's my friend Jennifer, who works at faire as a fortune teller, and support system for a large hat.

And finally; a little "kilt don't", Leaving in the basting stitches. I wondered; should I help a brother out, and say something, or just take his picture for the internet? A friend said "No reason you can't do both"

Oh yeah, He got it off Ebay and it was his first time in public, he had no idea. His wife said she "thought something looked wrong". I loaned them a blade and helped him with some questions about stuff like sporran straps and kilt belts etc.. while his wife worked on the basting.

Good for you! He's lucky his wife was with him to "help out". Nice story with a good ending.

I had him at a slight disadvantage in that with my first kilt I knew the basting stitches had to come out, but I had no idea how to remove them. As I was struggling with the first knot, or two (under a magnifying glass with tweezers), I was thinking "this is going to take hours!". Then I hit the knots that are not knots and I blessed the person who invented them.

Great pics. You really do have some glamorous witches over there in North America.
