My First Home Made Kilts, Special thank's to Barb T's book!

    Hello everyone
Now that I've made 10 posts I can finally upload pictures, So here's some photos of my first ever kilts and my wedding. The tartan is Gordon Weathered which is made by Lochcarron, and is pleated to the sett. The first 2 kilts are Medium weight but when I decided to make the third one they were out of stock so I had a order heavy weight, hence the larger sett size.
Thoughts, comments, advice and constructive critisim's will be warmly appreciated! :0)

Excellent work!!!!!! Wish I was that talented. I especially like the brown buckle straps. Too many kilts these days use black, so it's nice to see a change. Wear it with pride.

Very impressive, Bobby! Making a kilt is one of those things that takes a lot of determination and courage, especially when doing it for the first time and using expensive cloth. But to make three of them... plus a fly plaid, flashes, and neckties?! Outstanding! You seem to have done well on all counts.

Those are lovely wedding photos, by the way.

Wow. Smashing. You really made a great set there. That is a huge tribute to Barb's book. Congratulations. These photos will make you happy for years and years to come. May you both share that happiness and fulfillment in all you do and for the rest of your lives.
