Fancy Dress Pageant! Show the Rabble your 2012 Halloween costumes!
Okay, I'll start! Last year's "fairy Godfather" costume was a tough act to follow, but we tried this year with a "bee & flower" couple costume. Let me just say, that it's hilarious walking down the street and getting people's reactions. It's not every day you see an oversized honeybee and flower parading down main street at night.
In Japan, "cute" or kawaii costumes are IT! My flower getup was a HUGE hit with the J-girls, and I got tons of smiles, with some of the more adventurous ones evening feeling me up to find out what my costume was made of, and what was under my ummm... plastic flowerpot-come-kilt.... Lol! I must've posed for several metric bucketloads of photos, most of which are probably plastered all over every Blog site in Japan by now.
Anyway, like last year, we took first prize at the local's costume contest, so all in all I'd say it was a pretty good night!

Oh my gosh, how cute! Great costumes, heehee! Her stinger! Yes, I can imagine all the smiles you got. Thanks for sharing!
Wish I could post one of my many costumes, but alas... the past several years, it seems Halloween is the one time of year I'm least likely to be dressed up. It seems none of my friends are available, which is so funny when you think of a bunch of costumers. Go figure! Ah well.
Enjoy the day, everyone!

Wow! Great costumes. I notice the flower pot is not pleated. Great variation on a theme though.

I didn't know Gandalf was a Denver Broncos fan , I always figured him to be a Rohan Rogues fan . Learn something new every day !
