Muir Woods 10 NOV 12

Yesterday being "my birthday" as a Marine (before I fell to the Dark Side and got an Army commission), I decided to celebrate it with a bit of exercise, a wee stroll in the Muir Woods area just north of San Francisco. In honor of the place itself I wore the California State tartan, as it's based on the Muir tartan.

Congratulations on your birthday. That tartan looks like it "belongs" amidst that beautiful scenery.

(BTW - good choice, we are an Army family because of our son choosing that as a career.)
