    Bagpipe Drone Sgian Dhu

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/mackie_mce...&_trksid=p3692
My next door neighbour Mackie McEwan has an interesting range of kilt accessories listed on eBay at the moment, including bagpipe drone Sgian Dhus, bottle openers and keyholders.
Some unusual items there, I think I'll be tempted to buy a few for myself!

Are they full size drones? Even the top section on my tenor drones are 8" long. Wouldn't that be weird sticking up above the kilt hose?

They advertise as a letter opener. I can't imagine that would sit well in hose.

I have been very busy and also had a computer replacement so I lost my original link but I got the "letter opener," sgian brew and pen from who has to be this seller. They are really wonderful. The letter opener is a sgian dubh not sharpened and therefore I think he gets around the knife laws in UK. I have my pen beside me on my desk now and I use the others in my hose regularly. Several in my band have gotten them and I donated a brew and a dubh to our Burns supper last year for the raffle.

    Highly recommended.
