I think I like the Neokilts at www.neokilt.com better. But we still dont have any reps from them posting on this board as far as I know.

    I have one

The workmanship is incredible but there were some fit issues. The pistol sleeve was too small for the gun I specified but it's the perfect size for my Dalvey whisky flask I just wish they used heavier fabric and omitted the front pockets. The style is the closest to "traditional" kilt construction I've seen in a solid color cotton kilt.

P.S.: Clarification - That is the Keo Kilt from Washington State, not the one that is now Savannah Kilt (13th Colony Apparel) in Georgia. But I have one of theirs too.

    NeoKilt

I have a NeoKilt (now known as 'Savannah Kilts') which I received several weeks later than expected last Autumn. (The delay was due to the Postal Authorities, not the manufacturer, I hasten to add).

It is a 6 yard Leine kilt. However, because of the nature of the animal, it has not yet been warm enough (weather-wise) to wear it. I am so looking forward to giving the kilt a thorough 'test drive' in a few weeks time.

Hamish, did you measure your 6 yard leine? Mine is barely 4.5 yards.

Well, I hadn't done so, but I have now and it is 6 yards 10 inches!

As I say, I have not really worn it yet because, being all cotton (?), it's not suited to the British winter weather conditions. However, I wore it for a few hours in the house when it first arrived, and I think the fabric is going to crease very badly, and may not hold its pleats. Has that been your experience?

It does crease more than wool, but I think it is a poly/cotton blend and holds the pleat creases better that my 100% cotton Amerikilt. I'm a little disturbed by the yardage shortage but it was purchased during Savannah Kilts 25% off sale... 25% less money = 25% less fabric?
