Artificer does it again!

I am now the proud caretaker of an Artificer Sporran. The challenge presented to Scott was to make something appropriate for the reserved appearance of a Priest. Something that, with clerical collar, will transcend day and evening wear.

The result is a very soft leather black sporran that has an envelope style flap rather than the more typical turned over flap. The flat top flat adds uniqueness and formality to the piece. This apparently was an early to mid-20th century style that is seldom seen today. I could not be happier with his solution to my request.

That is a beautiful sporran - I've always been a fan of dark sporrans with red lining, and the internal pockets and organizers really are a great addition.

I am very, very jealous.

Thanks Gang! I really enjoy this style of sporran, should I ever get around to making another day sporran for myself it will probably in this style.

I wore it just last week and forgot to get a picture; I continue to be very happy with it. Glad Scott got you the measurements, I was busy with Maundy Thursday and only now had time to post.
