Boss Ordered Me To Wear A Kilt Today....gotta love it!
So today there was an entourage of honchos flying in to our agency from "corporate." The boss chose me to pick them up at our local Jet Center and to drive them around to our various facilities so they could take measurements, and inventory, and do planning - we're moving to a new facility soon.
When she told me she wanted me to handle this she added, "Wear a kilt - a LEATHER kilt." So today I'm wearing my buckskin leather RKilt. Boss' orders.
Sure beats all the insanity at my last job that lead to my having to file a greivance to be able to wear a kilt.
"Why are you wearing a kilt?" "Boss told me to"

Excellent! I love getting kilt requests. When a good friend got married last year and asked me to be his best man, he also specifically requested that the kilt be worn! ;-) I wish such requests would come more often, though. Hehe.

Nice!
The only time I've been 'ordered' to wear a kilt was when a colleague 'double-double' dared me to wear mine to our Xmas dinner. She only had to ask...

Boy, wouldn't I love to have the boss tell me to wear a kilt to work! Even better yet, his boss. Alas, such is not the deal here. Suit and tie, suit and tie.
