Numerous threads on these here at Xmarks and also on the Bob Dunsire Forums. In a nutshell, commentors seem to like these ghillies. They say they are comfortable to wear for long periods and have a very traditional look. Some comments about the ghillies being hot (or not breathing as well as traditional shoes) have also been expressed. Care must be taken when lacing not to pull too hard on the eyelets, as they sometimes break if you really tug on them hard. I don't have a pair, but these are what I have heard about them. Try searching 'ghillator' on this forum and over at BDF. Good luck.

AWESOME. I've always wanted a pair but I don't do leather... *and* they are reasonably priced (so many vegan shoes are well over $100) *and* they come in small enough sizes to fit women (though how my narrow feet would fare, I dunno). Thanks for the link!
