Hi from New Brunswick Canada
Hi all,
Just a note to introduce myself. I am originally from Lanarkshire in Scotland and moved to Newfoundland Canada in 1973 and now live in New Brunswick. My background is textile design and textile research and have worked in leather for almost 40 years now, my apprenticeship started in fur and leather in Glasgow Scotland before moving to Canada.
I have presented papers on archaic North American textiles and conducted research work on Canadian Tartans and their origins. I have a small business making one of a kind leather sporrans and leather products and occasionally give workshops on leather work and leather bag making.

Stephen, welcome from Mitchell, Ontario. Alas, until three years ago I lived in Fredericton too. Will be journeying east this summer. Maybe I'll see you at the highland games, if the timing is right.
