    Sportkilt Colors

    folks,

i've had my eye on the Stewart Hunting [ http://www.sportkilt.com/stewHunt.htm ] at SportKilt. the Stewart Hunting most closely matches the McEwen [ http://www.clanmaclachlanwesternusa.org/images/1587.gif ] tartan which is part of my ancestry.

though sportkilt has a small graphic of their pattern, i really can't see details. has anyone purchased the Stewart Hunting and if so, any chance you could post a slightly large image of the pattern and colors.

as well, how is the weight, comfort and general feel of your Sportkilt?

best regards & thanks in advance.

I had a similar question, is there a tartan that sportkilt sells that looks similar to MacDonald. It looked to me like St. Paddy's Special might be close, but I'm not too sure.

    Sportkilt colors

It's been my experience that Sportkilt has a small plad instead of a true tartan. My understanding is that tartan has at least a six inch sett. Both of my Sportkilts have a small sett. Three inches)

No idea on the tarans part, but if you want to get an over all pic, then just click on the one you want to view.
