Aahhh!! Need advice asap!! Rocker style!!!
Rabble, I have been asked to wear a kilt to tonight's industry networking event. I write Hard Rock/Heavy Metal music and am promoting that tonight.
I am planning to don my Holyrood kilt.
How can I make it look "Rock?"
Thank you.

Black T shirt, boots, scrunched down hose. I can't think of anything else.

I think Bren wanted to look like a Rocker, not a rocker chick. If he showed up in that outfit I doubt he'd be asked back ...kilt or not. (....and I don' think the amp would help.)

Lol. Thanks, guys. I agree. Black seemed so cliché so I asked my management. Here is an outfit that they suggested.
I seldom mix my kilts with my profession but it was specifically requested that I don my kilt.
Apparently it is more industry business-types than talent attending and more conservative dress is expected rather than flashy rockstar clothes. I am one of the lucky few.
Thank you, rabble, for your advice.

Denim shirt open over the appropriate (?) Tee-shirt? Boots?

Heavy boots, leather vest, maybe a biker chain wallet. Basically the same thing you'd do to make a pair of jeans look "rocker style".

With blue, brown, gold and white. Just about any solid colors goes well with it. Been out of the pop music loop since the early 90's but black something seemed "uniform" then.

Pants is only a present tense verb here. I once panted, but it's all cool now.

band Tshirt, 8 hole Docs, dark hose w/flashes and a leather jacket. This was my standard dress for shows in my early to mid 20s worked well for me.
