    A New Name Perhaps?

    Hello folk.

I started this forum thinking there would be a lot of folk with Scottish heritage posting here. As we have seen it has turned into much more than that.

In honor of this forums 100th member and the fact that we are not all Scots here but run the gamet of Celtic and Non-Celtic heritage, I have purchased a new domain name. It is www.kiltinaction.com. Now the question is do you guys want me to change the name of this forum?

If I do www.xmarksthescot.com will still be active. It will just be that both domain names will point to this site. I will also change the branding on this site to reflect Kilt In Action.

What say you noble men of the tartan and not-so-tartan cloth? Use the poll up there to vote.

I like xmarksthescot.com It's kind of a play of words, and it defines that this is a kilts only site.
The name may keep away the people that believe that a demin mini from walmart is a kilt, and that it has nothing to do with Scottish heritage.

There is plenty of Celtic related topics, but you don't need to be Celtic to participate. I am a Celt, but have had great conversations with those that aren't.

My vote is to keep the name as is.

I am with Colin on this one. I vote the name stays the same!

Ah, leave it. I'm Irish, and I don't mind...I think it's a cool play on words.

    Name change

Kiltinaction sounds like an inactive kilt!

Of the two, I'd stay with X Marks the Scot.

What, you mean that non-Celts can actually speak? LOL

My vote is to leave the name as it is.

I was leaning more towards the "you don't have to be Scottish to wear a kilt" arguement. You should see the diversity at our regular kilts night, and in the St. Paddy's day parade.

I don't see the reason for changing it.
