    Latest Sporran

Well it's been awhile since I last posted, but here is my latest creation. A Rob Roy style sporran made once again from re-claimed couch leather. Nothing spectacular, but fun & easy to make.

VERY sharp, nicely done and very nice detailing!.

One word of caution- if the body of your sporran is inner surface of your sofa leather you might want to do a few buffing tests with an old white t-shirt or gym sock to make sure the colour is totally and completely fast and won't rub off on your apron.

    Otherwise I think it's smashing!

No worries, the color is good. Thanks for the advise.

Looks great and what a creative "upcycle"! There's an old black leather jacket of mine waiting for similar use. . . darn work gets in the way. . .

Great work there! I re-claimed some leather from a few of my wife's old purses that I intend to use for a sporran sometime in the near future.
