No, I had not seen it. But, with pictures of Kyle, his beautiful lady, and Mael gracing the home page, it can't be too bad.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Well, I have to say that I had a look and maybe wont be going back.
Firstly I had to create an account before being able to have a look. I didn't like that idea but "went with the flow".
Completed registration (with strange requests like address and telephone number), used the activation link that was sent to me and "logged on".
I hasten to add that although I work in IT I found this site very difficult to navigate, saw no photos whatsoever, there only seems to be 6 posts (which are all rules and regulations from the site admin), although I did find a line that said 401 new messages, but when I clicked on that it didn't do anything.
Maybe it's because I'm using an old desktop computer at the moment and I'll give it a try from my new laptop tonight.
Maybe I'm just too stupid to be able to use this site but it seems hard work to be able to do anything at all and it's not really that what I'm looking for when "surfing" the internet.
I hope that you all find it easier than I did and that the site is a big success for its owners and members but if it's still the same for me on my laptop later today then I will search for a way to disactivate the account that I have just created.

I didn't fill out the personal information portion. Just email and name. It's new, so I feel it should be allowed some time to grow. Seems a bit like a more simplified Facebook? Until you have friends there, you will see nothing on your home until you click the "View all" under the "Share" button on your home page. It seems the default is "Me&Friends"

MyClansOnline.com
There is yet another new Scottish social media website. This one started just this month.
Does anyone here know who owns it? Since COSCA was promoting it I asked them and got a wishy-washy evasive response. "They're good people....."
I did a whois lookup and can only find that the domain is registered to tucows domain service and the IP address is 108.178.25.243.
MyClansOnline is hosted in the United States.
The fact that it is so secretive makes me want to avoid it.
Anyone know anything else about this site?

You're wise to be cautious. I've never heard of it. Let's see what the Great Rabble has to say.

Legion Padre, theologian, teacher, philosopher, linguist, encourager of hearts & souls & a firm believer in dignity, decency, & duty. A proud Canadian Sinclair with solid Welsh and other heritage.
