A kilted day, not so usual...

Today, not unlike many days, I piled my Black Lab "Tank" into the car for a visit to one of our retirement communities. For those of you that don't know, Tank is a therapy dog. He loved it; the trats, the loving, and the occasional kilt check. Tank has a large, wet nose and does not understand kilt etiquite. All I know, is I have this cold, wet thing on my...tush and I'm on the tip of my toes. The residents loved it and laughed for about ten minutes. Although I was slightly embaressed, I had to have a good laugh, too.
Afterwards, he and I stopped off at the local video store to rent "Brother Bear" for my daughter and when we walked in, we ran into three ladies working there. They were lined up like a group of old hens. "Are you a piper?" the all asked. I went through the whole story of why I wear kilts and the such, they attacked my poor dog. If my wife had been there, it would have been hilarious! One of the ladies kept dropping things near me. Tank kept spoiling their attempts, he the protective sort, you know.
All in all, I guess it was almost a typical day in a kilt, just colder and wetter. By the way, does anybody know how to train a dog to
    not perform kilt checks?

    Cheers,,
    Allen

Why would you want to do that?? You've two have got a great act going! Tank is the star... your the straight guy. The trick is to get him to perform on-que. Maybe you could plant treats up there or something
