Cheers from Vancouver, WA!
I've been meaning to sit down and do this "oh, hai guise!" post for a while but never quite got to it. It's about time to de-lurk. Hi everyone!!!
Me in a paragraph or less:
I live in the 'couve, transplanted from Portland not quite two years ago. I'm a wedding photographer(yes, I do wear a kilt to work), runner and cyclocrosser, and crazy dog rescue person. I first learned to appreciate the kilt through my father, who played the fiddle and loved traditional Irish and Scottish music. It took over 20 years but I finally got my first one from Stumptown Kilts. Since then I've sewn more than I can count and wonder why I waited so long. I've heard there are other kilties here in Vancouver but have never actually seen one in the wild.
So yeah, it's great to be here and I look forward to getting to know everyone!

Hello and from The Big South Fork, north central Tennessee!
"transplanted from Portland" to Vancouver? -- Not a big "transplan" but great tax benefits -- live in Washington, shop in Oregon!!! Hope you find other kilted folks there, there should be a bunch between Vancouver and Portland.

Thank you!
It wasn't a big transplantation in miles, but for someone who's very SE PDX it's been big in other ways. East Vancouver doesn't seem to know what to make of the guy in a skirt, but overall it's been a really positive experience.

Hello and welcome from North Seattle. I wore a kilt the last time I went to Vancouver and had a lot of fun although I could tell some people where put off a bit at first.
