Grant Muted Heavy Weight - Ready!

My new kilt has arrived. Grant Muted in 16oz from House of Edgar. Some of you might tell me that House of Edgar do not weave this in 16oz so I am very pleased that my wonderful kilt-maker managed to get hold of a kilt length they had in stock. Thank you Paul Henry.

I also had a purled fly plaid in the same cloth. I know there are some who treat this as a modern affectation but I just thought it would be fabulous in these colours.

    Best wishes - Harvey.

Congratulations, that looks fantastic! I do so very much love Paul's decorative kilt linings, they just add that extra little bit of character.

That cloth looks very nice. Cant wait to see both items. I love plaids of any kind, especially fly plaids. And, there's nothing like a purled "modern affectation".
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

As you can see. pleated to a double red stripe but this actually allowed for more of the green to be seen.
    Best wishes - Harvey.
