    A suggestion....

For those of you who, like me, from time to time have had negative reactions from your spouse regarding your kilts, I have a suggestion. I have started to get my wife interested in following some of the threads on this forum. She has become familiar with the names of some of the folks that post regularly and often enjoys the banter. She has also come to realize that we are decent normal people who happen to be passionate about kilts and associated attire. My suggestion is... let your partner in on the forum. Show them what we talk about and how we feel about the issues. I know for a fact that it has helped in my case. Just a thought.

    Normal?

    Hello Mrs. Blu,
    Welcome!
I ride the bus here in Vancouver and some of the stuff I see people wearing makes my kilts seem very tame.
I just do as I please and wear what I want to wear. Life is too short to live any other way. I argue against conformity, whether it's someone telling me to wear pants or how I should wear my kilt.
I don't argue just because I like a good dust-up. I want to show others that they don't have to conform to other's opinions of how to dress.

    Good suggestion.
They can also feel free to talk to my kilt-loving wife, if anyone thinks that'll help.

Hello to you, Mrs Blu, from across the pond.

My wife was a little bemused about my sudden interest in kilts, but is now resigned to the fact and gives a good deal of support to my 'addiction'.

Do drop in and read the threads. You'll see we're just a bunch of ordinary blokes enjoying a bit of craik.

    Hello Gentlemen,

I've enjoyed your posts, I'm definitely becoming more conditioned to "men in kilts". I sometimes read the posts along with my husband ...and have a laugh or two, but not to worry Phil, your secrets are safe with me... I've no intention of crashing the gentleman's club. I'm more likely to have my nose in a book. It was fun to receive posts "personally to Mrs. Blu" from around the globe!

    Cheers!
    Mrs. Blu

Hi Mrs Blu from Down Under DownUnder.

You have a fine husband who has been an inspiration to us all here, I figured he had a fine lass behind him (as the saying goes).

I do understand that the fairer sex have been members here before, is that not true?

Mrs. Blu! You should get your own login name and post regularly! I think Phil doesnt understand that a womans opinion is greatly appreciated here. Thanks for coming by!
