Well then, you need to start rootin' around. Welcome from the mountains of northern New Mexico! I hope you enjoy the XMTS forum.

Hello DrDooley, and welcome to X Marks from lower, slower Delaware. It's exciting to discover your heritage and explore your families roots and, though this forum is primarily about kilts and kilt wearing, you will indeed, find discussions pertaining to our Scottish ancestors.
It's good that you chose to join the kilted rabble; I look forward to your participation.

Simon Fraser fought as MacShimidh, a Highland chief… wrapped and belted in a plaid over the top of his linen shirt, like his ordinary kinsmen. He put a bonnet on his head, and stuck the Fraser emblem, a sprig of yew, in it. With the battle cry, A'Chaisteal Dhunaidh and the scream of the pipes, they charged to battle.
