Servers in kilts
Thursday we took our production of the Great Storm to Sarnia (great show with standing ovation) and afterwards the cast and crew went to eat at Paddy Flahertys. It was the best pub restaurant food I have ever had. Our female server was wearing a mini kilt and then I noticed that the male server was wearing a kilt. Unfortunately, when I saw him full length it became apparent that he hadn't a clue about kilts. Trollopy doesn't begin to describe his kilt - it was almost a midi.
When I paid my bill I gave the waitress a note with the Xmarksthescot URL and asked her to passion to her co worker. Here's hoping he gives this site a look!

Oops. Should read "pass it on". Memo to self, don't type while smoking pipe. Not being female I can't mult-task.

From the title I thought this might have been about a new datacentre for the '.SCOT' web addresses. Can just imagine a server in MacIntosh plaid...

I've never heard of Paddy Flaherty's, but from the sound of it, it sounds similar to "The Tilted Kilt" restaurant chain in the States. The servers there wear kilts as well (the female servers mini-kilts), and the male servers wear solid black or brown utility style kilts. The one time I ate at one of the Tilted Kilt restaurants, I noticed something similar about the fit of the men's kilts. They were all definitely above the knee.
