    At the zoo

    Good morning boys and girls...
I took this past tuesday off work and decided it was a good day for a family trip to the zoo. I also figured this would be a great kilt outing.
I was sporting my black workmans Utilikilt, a Diciple concert shirt, pair of logger boots, and a black bucket hat. Got a lot of looks, but with the exception of a few little kids, I recieved no comments at all. Rather disapointing I must say.
Ah well it was a great day. My beautiful bride on my arm, my fine son running around like a mad hatter, and me looking cool in my utilikilt. Now that my fine friends is the definition of a great day.
    Just wanted to share.

    thanx...Ded N. Buried

Something about going to the zoo, I have noticed that people are looking at the animals, and kilt wearers are not that type of animal that lives at the zoo.

Granted I have been called an animal and sometimes things in my life makes it seem I live in a zoo, it is not the same thing.

I love my "days off" at the zoo with my family. Since I am an idependent consultant I can take time off as I please. On my daughters first birthday (April 1st) my wife and I took her and my 3 year old son to the zoo. Not another soul in sight. My son and I actually got to run around like idiots and spend time looking at the animals he wanted, without fighting the crowds. I didn't go kilted because we were on a double bike for an hour of the visit.

Mid week zoo visits are the best.
