    Kilted Halloween Costumes

While the "Kilts are not costumes" thing often crops up this time of year we always find it fun to come up with kilted Halloween Costumes for our Annual Scottish Country Dance class Halloween party.

Here is what the fabulous F-H.C.A.G. and I came up with this year

    Scottish Superheroine!

    Subtle Lovecraftian Masquerader

(Far less subtle when I was holding my plush Cthulhu puppet and "The Big Book of Things Man Was Not Meant To Know)

    Happy Halloween All

    Cheers

My 3 year old son has chosen to dress me as a kilted witch . The only thing is is my kilt is being used as a cape instead . I may or may not wear a kilt where it is supposed to be worn depending on weather but i will def have a cape made from on . Will post pictures after the night is over .

Jamie and Star: Great looking "costumes", though we would probably be able to guess who you are. Don't forget to drop by our house. We have lots of candy guaranteed to make you sick, if you eat too much of it.

I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Dear Jamie. Our neighborhood is having the Halloween party in our cluedesac and I get to wear my muted maxwell kilt. My neighbors asked if it would be OK with me and as long as I get a slice of pizza I,m good to go. Best regard Mattie.

I took my daughter trick or treating over the weekend. She was in costume, I was kilted. Here is a picture of us at the pub afterwards. If you zoom to the lower left, there's proof of me in the kilt. But obviously, I was not the main event.

I have a couple of kilted costumes. One is my renaissance fair great kilt. I've worn it a couple of times to Halloween parties.
This year, I'm wearing my MacQueen tartan kilt with my original series Star Trek red engineering shirt to the office party. I wore it to this year's Michigan Comic Con.

It's not the Scott tartan and fly plaid Scotty wore, but it's close enough for people to recognize it for what it is. One day I'll make an office dress uniform jacket like this.

Dig your kilted take on Rogue, very nice.
Here is one from last year, tattered up mess.

Was out last Saturday night at the Phoenix Zombie walk sporting a Cameron tartan.
Hard to tell from the "lack" of photos I took.
We have a neighborhood Halloween party Thursday, will make sure to get better shots.

Very smart Jamie and all. The kilt is indeed a versatile garment.

Very nice and BTW I've missed you both posting! We are going to be traveling tomorrow to a camping rally but I am taking my new Stumptown kilt and accessories. Hopefully I'll have an opportunity to wear it and get some pictures.
