    That's a bit much for my taste, but I suppose I'm more conservative in my kilted footwear - black or brown wingtips or ankle boots depending on the circumstances.

    I think they look good on you, because of your age group, but the wouldn't look good on me, because of the same reason. I'm sure that I'm substantialy older than you, and if I wore them I'd be accused of "trying" to look your age instead of mine.
