Hello from Maryland
I am a new member here, although I have spent some time reading the forum posts over the past few weeks. I have yet to wear a kilt, but have worn the family tartan (Wallace) tie and cummerbund at black tie events. I think it may be time to take the plunge and trade the tux for formal kilt attire. My late father grew up in Ireland and I have always been interested in my celtic heritage. I hope to learn lots on here to guide my purchase and wear of a Wallace kilt.

Hello Sean, rather new here myself. With your tartan I would get a kilt and wear it proudly!

Welcome from the mountains of northern New Mexico! - currently snowing and 18 degrees F. I hope you enjoy the XMTS forum.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Welcome from another Marylander. Consider going to the Alexandria Scottish walk tomorrow in Old Town Alexandria.

A number of XMarks folks will be there. My Lady and I will be walking with Davidson. Mael Coluim will be with Clan MacCallum Malcolm Society and a nicer fellow you cannot meet.
