The Nuala Kennedy Band will be performing in the Barrel Room at Stonefield Cellars Winery Wednesday night, February 26th, 2014.

For any of the rabble in, or near, Greensboro, I spoke with Natalie (of Stonefield Cellars Winery) this afternoon. They are not sold out yet, so if you want to attend, PM me and I will give you her cell phone number and you can call and buy a ticket. Their office is only open Thursday thru Sunday. The Barrel Room is a wonderful, intimate, venue. It seats about 40 people. My wife and I attended the Jim Malcolm concert there back in the fall, and we had a great time. If you go to YouTube and search for Nuala Kennedy Band, there are many videos. She plays flute and sings in Gaelic and English, and her band includes mandolin, guitar, and drums. I am so looking forward to hearing her in person. I am thinking about going kilted and getting my picture taken with her. We'll see.
