My New Jumper, my wife loves my :)
Proof that my wife loves me. My new cable knit jumper that she has been working on for (a very) long time. It's 100% wool, fits great, and will serve me very well for years to come. Plus, it was made with love. It was a smash at the pub this evening. Everyone was asking about it, and needless to say I'm well chuffed.

What a beautiful sweater! The color looks so different in each picture - earth tone in the first, green in the second. Congratulations to you on the sweater, and especially to your wife.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

As is understandable on both counts; being well-loved, and being the recipient of such a beautiful gift.

What a very smart and well-crafted sweater/jumper! A very talented lady indeed, that wife of yours! I've been looking for something exactly like it in dark green or dark blue for quite some time. This speaks authentically to the origins of the Scots-Irish Fisherman's sweater--hand knit by the wearer's wife from good, heavy, naturally oily (and therefore wind and water repellant) and/or naturally dyed wool, with a uniquely patterned cable design to identify her husband in a (heaven forbid) worst-case scenario at-sea. Absolutely an heirloom to be passed down--a "good bit o' wool" to borrow a phrase from one of my British University dorm mates. Treat that Celtic Woman to whatever she wants-she is rare and precious.
Best Regards,
