    Piping to a Beluga Whale

This is just amazing! I wonder what types of music they would choose if they could.

I saw this a few days ago and thought about trying it. I then realized I live nowhere near any water -- let alone Beluga whales! Belugas are smart creatures, thus, they love the Kerry Polkas.

Really makes me wonder what the whale was thinking. Being sonar-driven, I'm sure the animal was aware of intricacies or nuances that we just don't hear. It was fascinating to see the whale seeming to really pay attention to what was going on.

He is Thomas Leigh of Catamount Pipe Band from Vermont. He and some others did a small pipes performance while we were in Glasgow together in August 2013.

I had a great experience two years ago piping on the beach in the Autumn on Cape Cod. A seal followed up and down the beach listening. Great stuff!

    Thanks for the link.
