Scots aristocracy get married in Highland Dress

Whilst all the focus was one a certain sister there are some fine examples of how to wear Highland Dress to a wedding and not look like a Christmas Tree.

Thanks for sharing this Peter. As you say, some excellent examples of Highland Dress here. Did you notice the striped socks of George Percy with his morning suit, though? Shocking!

    Love the simple kilt pin.

    Pippa didn't look bad either.

Yes indeed. Good to see the tweeds at weddings and only one wee lad in a PC with a long tie.

As there is a thread going on about formal dress weddings at the moment---------and the fact that I am not cleaver enough to do a link thingy-----I thought that some might find the pictures useful, to show that thank goodness, not all Scots weddings are of the " kilt hire shop" variety these days.
