South African , KZN South Coast Gathering held 3 May

I attended the South Coast Gathering in Amanzimtoti Kwa Zulu Natal today , the sun and blue sky made it a perfect day to be kilted unfortunatly this was not possible . I did get to enjoy the pipe bands and watch some dancing compo's I did notice a lack of kilted spectators which is sad , but I think this is mostly due to the high cost of anything not only scottish or highland for that matter which is sad , I noticed a vendor selling modern kilts called Cargo kilts and they seemed to get quite a bit of enquiries , which surprised me as I never thought there would be such interest in modern kilts trying to post a few pics hope you find them interesting .
