The Thrifty Scotsman!
I recently came across this beauty at an antique shop in Cambria, CA. It really caught me by surprise while I was digging through all of the old automobile ads. I'm not sure if you can read it, but the text says, "The Thrifty Scotsman is a symbol of getting your money's worth. So is the Mobilgas sign." Just thought I'd share my latest find with you guys and hopefully get you to crack a smile.

Sorry, but I honestly have no clue. There isn't any info of that sort on the ad itself and the person I bought it from knew nothing about it either. Trust me, I wanna know just as much as you do.
