    I read this article today, too, on the BBC News app. I was a bit amazed that there were too articles that pertained to Scotland and US relations. The other article was about the import of Scots haggis to the States.

    As somebody who has been attending Highland Games in California for 40 years, I wonder where these photos were taken.

    Nothing jumps out as being clearly recognizable except for that big red barn which I think is at the Orange County Fairgrounds. (Then again, probably most County Fairgrounds have big red barns!)

    One building looks like it might be one of the buildings at the Ventura County Fairgrounds.
