Good pix, thanks for posting Nathan. There's really nothing quite like convening for your clan at a Highland Games is there?

I enjoy it. It provides a chance to meet people and help them out. What's the point of gathering knowledge if you can't share it?
When the photo with Jackie Denny was being taken, I realized the band in the beer tent (Great Lakes Privateers) was playing a song I wrote (Merchant Marine) so that made for a fun night and some interesting chats with the band after their set. Nice guys.

@Nathan, "Merchant Marine" is one of my favourites from your Celtae album. Is it pronounced "kelt-ah" or "kelt-ay"?

We always pronounced it Kel - tay, it is the latin variant of Keltoi like John's company name.
Although that's how we pronounce it, so that's the band name, I'm not a latin scholar. I've also heard the word Celtae pronounced "Kel-tie" (like tie a knot) or even "Sell- tie".
