December 11th Dunedin Christmas Parade
The NWC Kilt nights MO is to fill the pub, normally busy with tourists and locals, with kilted men and plaided lasses, create an atmosphere of fun and Celtic curiosity, then hold raffles for great single malt (donated by the pub, of course) and 50/50's, and NWC t-shirts, etc...all to benefit the local chapter, which then donates the money to help a starving piper, or an Irish or Highland dancer, re-enactor, Highland Athlete, etc...plus we get to drink and cavort aboot in our plaids, and forever answer that silly question about whats under...ahhh life is good...

Thanks for the info Mike, my only regret is that to attend any of these event would involve HUGE amounts of bugs bunny.
I hope they all go well!

miah....good to see that there are Kilters in the panhandle...on the Redneck Riveria....we are discussing having a tent at the tallahassee highland games this year....we'll hook up then....but we also have members of the NWC that are members-at-large.. we call them "Wild Rovers" and they check out places that may be future homes of NWC chapters....ie great pubs...and "inspect" the pub for food, ale selection, spirits, and available Lasses to entrance with Kilt.....and the NWC will certificate the Pub, making it an "authorized" pub to Eat drink and Cavort for NW Celters.....all in fun, and the Pub owners LOVE Kilters to liven up the atmosphere of their pubs.....the pub checklist will be soon on our website, but alas, only for members of the Celts......mike...
