    Kilted for the wedding dance

I have a wedding dance to attend this coming Saturday, and this is how i'm planning to dress for it.... tie might be a green one instead of black!!
Kilt is Robertson Modern and jacket is Lovat green Harris Tweed Argyle.
Or maybe a black Jacobite shirt and no jacket!!
Being a Libran i can never make up my mind!!
Any thoughts on the matter??Attachment 21374

Myself I'd go with the jacket. Looks very nice.

I think you look well turned out. I'd pull up the kilt a bit so it sits at your natural waist and not on your hips. That way, it will show more knee and look more balanced with your very nice tweed jacket etc... Everything else looks smart. I'd go with this over a black pseudo-jacobite shirt, personally. It looks like you've hit the mark well indeed. A light coloured shirt or one with a tattersall pattern wouldn't be amiss either but the white one you are wearing is perfectly acceptable as well.

As a fellow Libran, I'd say go with the rig you show in the photo -- and definitely the green necktie over black: it's a little less somber.
