Coffee and Kilt

Was out to get some coffee beans and at the shop one of the women behind the counter said nice kilt while the other ground my beans. Then she wanted to take my picture for her friend Nikki so I said OK. She got the camera so fast and took the snap, I didn't have time to really straighten the sporran or anything. They laughed because I was caught off guard by the photo. "Guys don't know how to pose for a photo!"

That happens a lot. It only really bothers me if I'm particularly busy or talking to someone. I got used to it back when I made the decision to wear whatever I liked, which mostly consists of reenactment garb. Kilts are my go to modern attire. All we can do is try to look our best all the time. My sister-in-law saw me on her friend's facebook once. Seems that when I was out shopping one of the girls walking past took a cell phone picture and posted it. I didn't see the picture as I don't know the girl, but my sister-in-law assured me that I was well turned out.
