My first DIY sporran
Well... It is no Ferguson Brit and definitely not an Artificer sporran, but until I can scrounge up the monies to get one, this will have to do. I finished it this morning and it is completely from scraps (beaver, deer, and beef hide) that were in our house. It cost $0.

Being ultra picky, the black leather needs a little shaping, but very well done. A nice looking sporran. The twists in the long plaits adds a nice touch of antiquity with the non-even colouring.

An admirable first effort. Has a very authentic look to it. If I were you, I'd keep on going….probably the toughest thing is to get the first one done and after that it's just perfecting your craft.

Nicely done, Isaac! I would wear it as is.
