no "post quick reply" button

I notice that the quick reply option is not available today.Is this just a quirk or has it been taken away permanently? @Steve @ kiltedcodewarrior

I asked Steve the same thing; it's been turned off temporarily while they're working on the picture problem. Will return once that's fixed up.

I wondered about that also. It appears gremlins are at work.

No, no gremlins. We intentionally turned off the quick reply as part of the troubleshooting of the photo issue.

If you look in the FAQ's it says that to use the photo inserting feature quick reply must be off. So we turned it off and used the normal reply method to see it there was any difference.

The quick reply is turned on again.

I by-passed the "quick reply" when posting via the "reply with quote", then deleted all the section of someone else's post, before submitting my own. If I slowed the process of the IT crew, my apologies. I am usually a gremlin only on Halloween. Thanks for clearing all the issues up for us on this side of the screen. We come here for guidance in all things kilted but keeping this site fast and easy helps everyone.
