    Inside Bowls in Kilts

If your dyslexic you may be looking at this post thinking of reporting it to the mods , But its says Bowls so calm down

My 12 year old son plays Bowls and of course I take him to his matches and games. He plays regular every Sunday with one club They play at different greens all over the place. Often they are a player down so they ask if I will stand in. Ive stood in a few times this year including last Sunday and of course im kilted as ive ive just come to spectate, so I play in what ever im in that day . last week I had prier notice that I would have to play so I went in greys and whites and what was funny was this Sunday I hade 3 different lady's come over and say im glad to see you in your kilt, I didn't like you in trousers it just didn't look right on you.

They have only ever seen me in a kilt and it looked a bit wearied for me not to be in one LOL . I thought it was funny .

A couple of months back I was having a role up with my son at a Nottingham green and a bloke came over and said you play for South Forest don't you? , I replied I've stood in a few times why have I played against you ? No he said No But I've head about you . Its funny how word gets about I thought . I was in my Hunting pride of Scotland at the time I think LOL . Wonder how he knew it was me he's heard about LOL .

The man in a kilt is the one that gets remembered.
