Happy Flag Day, Canada!
Exactly 50 years ago today, February 15, 1965, the Red Ensign was lowered in a ceremony on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, and in its place was raised the Maple Leaf!
In honour of this occasion, which is also known as Flag Day in Canada, (yes, my American friends, we have one too...), I am wearing my Maple Leaf tartan, along with the red and white colours of the flag.

Though I do not follow the fictional pod-cast of Sheldon Cooper (character portrayed) on the "Big Bang Theory" (television series) concerning Flags, I am proud to call several Canadians friend and hope you all are able to see the Maple Leaf flying defiantly despite the current nasty weather conditions.
The next pod-cast from Sheldon Cooper will be the Mississippi state flag and the controversy of the "Stars and Bars."
