    Black Watch

I have a lady friend who has a Black Watch kilted skirt, I've alway loved that tartan so I'm planning a kilt in that tartan.

Does anyone else have one - USAK or otherwise?

What someone on a kilt forum is looking for a new kilt, I find that hard to believe

I at present do not have one but I like Graham am eyeballing many, so if you answer Graham's question it will mean that you don't have to repost when I ask(unless of course you are trying to catch up to Graham in posting.)

I thank you for your response Phil, those are really nice looking kilts.

Very popular here. My wife loves it also. If ever there was an obvious choice of tartans for a future kilt, that would be it.

In Fact, I have 2. My first one and my favourite one is from Bear. My second one is from Stillwater. It is a good kilt for the price, and it is warmer than my Bear Kilt.

My Bear kilt is a Black Watch. There are pics of it in my gallery. Great looking tartan, IMNSHO.

I have one from Sport Kilt. IMHO the Black Watch is one of the most handsome tartans out there. I hope one day to have another as my Black Watch is well worn and I have lost enough weight (excercise ) that it is a bit of a loose fit now.
BTW Anyone have experiance with Stillwater Kilts?

Graham, I have a Black Watch from Stillwater. I really like the tartan and will be getting one in wool before long.

Bill I have 2 Stillwater kilts. They are nice for the money. I found that mine are nicer now that I have sewn down the top of the pleats. They also come only in 24" length. I shortened both of mine. I'm pretty happy with them, but to be honest I think that I would spend a bit more and get one in wool from Rocky at USA kilts.
