Hello From Charlotte
Greetings:
I'm not new and have been more of a lurker these past months. But I am from Charlotte NC. I am very much interested in my clan history and all things kilt related.
I hope to see one day the fair Queen City to have our own kilt nights. I know we have to have the membership for them because we are not far from Grandfather Mountain and their Highland Games. Nor are we far from Loch Norman Highland Games.

My eldest son lives in Charlotte, though sadly I don't think he'll be joining you for Kilt nights, at least not any time soon. But hey - you never know, right??

Well met Jared. Welcome to the rabble from a "Native of High Point" that now calls Oxford, MS home. Start the idea of a community event (kilt nights out) with the Concord Chamber of Commerce. They used to be more open to public promotions for a positive community image. This is from a memory during the 1970's mind you.
