    First Lesson SCD

    Hi Guys,

on monday I had my first lesson in SCD...
Was great fun but...I felt a bit like a fool and my feet and calfs were aching.
We did quite a straight programm within two and a half hour.
First dance I really got was "Trip to Gatlinburg" though they did some more and several exercises.
On saturday the will be the annual ball of the Frankfurt SCD club.
I'll be there - mainly watching - but having a great occasion to introduce my new Gow modern. My first real kilted dress occasion...

    Tom,

Welcome to the Wonderful World of Scottish country Dancing! Some stuff will come easy and other parts will take time but believe me when I tell you it is a really worthwhile activity. It is great exercise and you meet some of the nicest people Scottish Country Dancing.
On top of that you get to listen to some wonderful music AND dress for it your finest highland apparel.

It is all win-win in my opinion!

Keep us informed on your progress

    Cheers
