    My First Kilt

My Traditional 8 Yard Wallace Kilt (Before I got all the accessories)
I bought it at a renaissance faire in North Haven from the American Highlander vendor.

Now I have the Belt, Kilt Pin, Matching Fly Plaid, and all kinds of stuff but the day I got my first kilt this is how it was.

My first kilt was US Army tartan, (green). My second was the Confederate Memorial (Red and Grey). My next will be Clan Colquhoun (green again). I find myself in the Red more often for formal events unless I plan to play outside (like a bike rally). The red is bold and shows I mean to interact with others as it attracts more attention.

You've got a fine looking kilt and will be approached. Stand tall and proud.

You're hooked. Nice choice of shirt color for the tartan.

It looks great and you wear it well.
Be warned that it may soon replace pants as the thing to wear with the rest of your day-to-day shirts and shoes with or without all the extra stuff ......and then the "oh, I'll just get one-more" begins

It already has. If I had thought of it I might have bought a few kilts instead of a hot tub.
