HK had many nice things ..nice colors they had a couple of Buchanan's I saw a weathered they advert. a weathered I like too. I like best they have a Morrison tartan in the modern synthethic threads . I saw a Hay that was real nice too . all std sizes to 48 .
I had on my STK wool Black Watch . lots of guys were wearing kilts, their families likely over hear many generations, Schenectady had ALCO locomotive factory started by Scot's and likely their early mechanic's up to WW2 tank manufacture, also many employed in GE's plant in many positions .
My Uncle got clipped in 50's for bringing in Gordon surplus kilts for "a" band in the 50's . It was nice then all the WW2 soldiers in the bands etc . I was off to breakfast and here was a neighbor's grandson tossing the caber cardboard tubes) on the lawn, said he had to start them young .
from there it was up to chum's camp in the woods up north, I could not hold out for the ceilidh later .
