Where to find an inexpensive kilt for beginners?

I was wondering where I could find a decent kilt that's fairly cheap. I'm not very well off at all and I also have a very small waist (28) so it's proving difficult to find something in my size that I could potentially afford...

I could go looking around online, I just fear that I'll run into issues...any advice from you folks?

To enable us to help you better - Can you please tell us your height.

Most off the rack kilts will be about 24" long from top of the waistbanding to the bottom of the hem. This will fit an average adult male between 5' 10" and 6' 0"

Welcome from Illinois, USA. It all depends on what your idea of fairly cheap is? Some of the partners and advertisers here have offerings for a very good value.

If you are small-waisted, Ebay is a great place to find quality kilts for cheap. Good deals can also be had from ex-hire stock from the rental companies.

I bought a couple of decent kilts for my kids from Tartanista. I am sure they are not the quality of Freedom Kilts or USAKilts, but for the kids not bad. I paid about $50 each for them through Amazon.
