The Aberdeen Shipping Company: The Game Is Afoot!
Good Evening fellow XMarkers,
It has been quite some while since I've visited the world of XMTS. Just to catch you all up in brief, I graduated last year with an Associates in Science in Criminal Justice and then obtained a license as a private investigator. Unfortunately the firm I went to work for made a lot of promises and fulfilled very little of them. Not a good experience. Currently the p.i. business is on hiatus and I am back in school learning creative welding (turning scrap metal into art) with the end game being creating metal art in my backyard. Anyhow, that is me, but that is not the reason for this post.
As some of you may or maynot be aware, in the XMTS groups you can find a group for kilted aficionados of the Great Detective of 221B Baket Street a.k.a. Sherlock Holmes and his world. This group is called the Aberdeen Shipping Company, and as the group administrator I'd like to extend an invitation to any fellow Sherlockian's to pay us a visit.
Well, that about it. I hope to revisit XMTS on a regular basis once again (for now as time permits). And I hope to see many of you who are fellow Sherlockian's paying the Aberdeen Shipping Company a visit in the near future.
Cheers!

Sorry to hear about the downturn in the private investigator business. I tried my hand at being a part-time private detective for a year back in 1997. I actually enjoyed the work. Welcome back!

On my birth certificate my father's occupation is recorded as 'private investigator'.
I can remember him mentioning various stratagems for finding people - but when I was born rationing was still in force and they mainly involved the regulations and registrations to do with that.
