Sporran organizer option
Greetings.
So I have been thinking about how to better use my sporran and was thinking about some DYI options since I couldn't find a commercial solution. (Man I miss Turpin and he's sporrans.)
Anyway, I stumbled on this DIY fit an elastic grid organizer. These are commercially available but I don't think I've seen them snapped enough.

What say the rabble? Might this be the organizer were looking for?

A good Idea! should I make one for SWMBOs Hand Bag as Well?
Looks like a project for Blue Peter!!
For those elsewhere, it's the longest running Childrens TV show in the world and is renown for small, make it yourself projects and misbehaving animals....( type in John Noakes and elephant!!!)
I still miss Petra, Christopher Trace, Valerie Singleton and the model railway, says he 50 + years later.
For those thinking of an other meaning for Blue, back in those innocent days, the Blue Peter was and still is the internationally recognized flag raised by a ship preparing to leave port and is meant to represent a "voyage of adventure" to the children.
Blue Peter was often one of the first programmes shown in the Evening when TV Switched on( no 24 hour TV back then)

The best thing I see about the organizer is, things are held vertically. That solves the sporran stuffing issue of things tangling at the bottom of the pouch.
Just like stowing a lorry or semi, where I heard an old dock hand once say, "fill them to the top, boys and girls. That space is like an empty pocket, there's no money in it."

Interesting idea, and kudos to the young man for reverse engineering it (although his enthusiastic, if not skilled over-use of a desk stapler made me LOL).
My question for the sporran wearers is, how do you think you will get all those little bits and bobs back into the elastic loops after removal and use? It sure looks like a 2-handed operation to me, which seems awkward (assuming you can even get both hands into your sporran).
For example, I have some purses with "cell phone" pockets that just barely accept my current phone. I usually end up using both hands to stow the phone, and it's annoying.

My assumption is that the organizer is removed in whole from the sporran, and the assorted do-dads are removed and replaced outside the sporran using both hands. The role of the organizer is to prevent having to dig inside your sporran to get to that lighter that has migrated under your keys, flashlight, cellphone, and That Thing Your Aunt Gave You That You Don't Know What It Is.

This is my sporran wallet. Allows me to get things out and put them back pretty easy.

This organizer of yours is actually referenced in older threads about Sporran organizers. it made me think about the way Turpin built the pockets into his sporrans. (RIP My Friend)
The "Carry All" and "Night Salker" sporrans are nice. I love mine and cant wait for Jerry (Stillwater) to get his new version of the NS Sporran completed. (He says it is a redesign build by a government contractor.) These are still mostly just a pouch though.
I like the "interchangeable" idea that organizers like the elastic grid ot your Sprooan Wallet options offer.

I agree about the Stapler. I would sew mine. (Maybe use a surger if I can get my hands on one.)
I engision this as an item one takes out like a wallet to acdess their goods. It would also make it easier to move one's EDC (Every Day Carry) items from Sporran to Sporran.
