    Howdy from Texas

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is James Burns and I'm in Dallas, TX. I've been doing research in order to have a kilt made with varying results, having to do with the connection (or non-connection) with the Campbell Clan. Also, looking for kilt wearers in the Dallas /Carrollton /North Dallas area to meet up with. Having not worn one before, it would be nice to not be the only kilt wearer in the place! Look forward to conversing and meeting with y'all.

Well met James. Sometimes, you may be the only one kilted and sometimes, it is the best thing that happens where other folks benefit from the moment. Glad to have you with us.

I would have to agree with Kiltboy. If you're looking for a kilt friendly place for National Tartan Day, I recommend the Ginger Man at The Shoppes at Legacy. Loud and crowded at peak hours but on April 6 I would expect a few kilts, and it's always a great place for a pint of Belhaven!
